yeah, I have thought about this in the past, and there have actually been shows on TV that show people (mainly mathematicians for some weird reason) actually making crop circles. While I think the idea of getting to do this sounds amazingly fun there are several problems. 1: we dont have access to a plane or helicopter to take a bad ass picture when we are done, so our biggest hope would be to make people believe it was aliens so they would take their own pictures. Which leaves out the option of writing words for the most part. 2: I have always been against the vandalism of mom and pop stores and other small businesses of that nature. And you dont get more mom and pop than a farm. So to tell you the truth I would feel kind of bad about it, like I was ruining their livelihood. and lastly 3: its easiest to make crop circles in wheat fields, and I have never been able to find a descent wheat field anywhere around me, only corn. So even though I would really like to do this I just dont think it is really feasible, unless the conditions are right of course. But I like the way your thinking Tim!

ReplyDeletegot a field in mind. And you can spot them out using google earth. You're right about the mom & pop thing though. Kinda puts a damper on it.
