Hacking Programmable Road Signs
So yeah, there was a big to-do about this shit in the news a while back - they mentioned that the hackers got access through instructions they found on the internet... unable to resist, i found them.

Damn.....this seems to good to be true. I remember Dane telling me about this a while back but i never payed any attention to it because I didn't think there was any way that it could be this simple. I see that this article was written in January of this year....I wonder if this shit still works or if they have changed their system or password after they realized people could fuck with'em.....sounds to me like there may be some crunchy road construction happening around my ville.
ReplyDeleteWell the thing is there's the reset function to set the passcode back to the default - so unless they replaced all their sign's hardware, then it should still work.
